What this policy covers
This policy describes how SecretSoft’s SimulatorBrowser app for macOS handles information, along with support requests and visits to the app’s product, support, and privacy pages.
Files and settings on your Mac
After you grant access through the macOS folder chooser, SimulatorBrowser reads simulator information, app and shared containers, folder paths, file names, file sizes, modification dates, and file contents needed for previews. This information is used to display and manage the simulator files you choose to browse.
The app saves your folder permission and filter preferences in local app settings so they can be restored on a later launch. Simulator discovery may also create temporary local files, which the app attempts to remove when the operation finishes.
Copying, deleting, opening, or dragging files happens in response to your actions. Copy Path places a path on the macOS clipboard. Opening a file in another app, using Finder, and any system clipboard or backup features are governed by those apps and your system settings.
Accounts, analytics, and advertising
SimulatorBrowser does not require a SecretSoft account. The app does not include advertising, cross-app tracking, third-party analytics SDKs, or automatic reporting of app usage or crashes to SecretSoft. It does not upload your simulator data to a SecretSoft server.
Apple may process App Store downloads, purchases, ratings, reviews, and diagnostics according to its services and your settings. The app’s rating and review options use Apple’s services. See Apple’s privacy policy for information about Apple’s practices.
Storage, deletion, and your choices
Simulator files remain in your simulator folders until you or another app change or remove them. Removing SimulatorBrowser does not remove your simulator files. You can manage those files through SimulatorBrowser, Finder, or Xcode.
Saved folder permission and preferences remain in the app’s local settings until those settings are removed. Quitting the app stops its current access. To prevent it from restoring a saved folder permission on a future launch, remove its saved local settings; contact us if you need instructions. You can also choose a different simulator folder from the app’s toolbar.
SecretSoft cannot access or delete simulator files or settings on your Mac remotely. The app does not create a server-side copy of this data.
When you contact support
If you email SecretSoft, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, and any attachments or diagnostic details you choose to send. We use that information to respond to your request and investigate the issue. Sending support information is optional; please avoid including secrets or unrelated personal information.
Support correspondence is processed through email service providers and retained as needed to handle your request, follow up, or meet legal obligations. You can request access, correction, or deletion of your support correspondence by contacting us. Some records may need to be retained to resolve an outstanding matter or meet a legal requirement.
Website hosting and analytics
The SimulatorBrowser web pages are delivered through Cloudflare. Visiting them sends technical request information, such as your IP address, requested URL, and browser information, to Cloudflare to deliver and protect the website.
The website also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure visits and page performance. Cloudflare documents that its analytics beacon does not use cookies or browser storage for analytics. This website measurement is separate from the SimulatorBrowser app and does not give the website access to your simulator files.
Cloudflare processes and retains service data under its applicable policies and service terms. Read Cloudflare’s privacy policy and its analytics data documentation for details. You can use your browser’s script and privacy controls to limit website analytics.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app or its supporting services change. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest update.
